Refund policy
Returns Overview
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please include a photograph if you can.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as:
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
- Custom products (special orders or personalized items)
- Personal care goods (beauty products)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

How to Start a Return
To start a return, contact us at info@tokyolifestyle.co.uk and tell us if you'd like to exchange or refund the item.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you the returns postal address by email.
For exchanges, we’ll also confirm whether replacement stock is available. If we don’t have stock, we’ll process your return as a refund.
Return Postage & Original Delivery Costs
Once the return is accepted, please send the item back to us using a tracked service of your choice. If your return is due to damage, defect, or our error, we will refund return postage costs up to £5. If return shipping in your area exceeds this amount, please contact us before sending the item back so we can advise or assist.
Please ensure the item is securely packed in its original packaging to avoid transit damage, and provide us with the tracking number by email.
Original postage and packaging costs are non-refundable unless the entire order is damaged or defective.
Exchanges
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the exchange was approved or not. If approved, we'll ship your replacement item.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 14 calendar days.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 14 calendar days have passed since we’ve confirmed receipt of your return, and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@tokyolifestyle.co.uk
This does not affect your statutory rights.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 calendar days, for any reason and without justification.
Your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
This excludes sale items and gift cards.
Your Legal Rights
This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights under applicable consumer-protection laws. This does not affect your statutory rights.
